Alfa-Bank says to fund 2 Uflex’ packaging plants with 8 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Jun 20 (PRIME) -- Alfa-Bank will finance construction of two plants of India's package producer Uflex Group in the Moscow Region with 7.9 billion rubles, the bank said in a statement on Tuesday.

"The plants will be built in special economic zone Stupino Kvadrat. Fulfillment of the investment projects will allow the Indian company to launch new types of products on the markets of Russia and the CIS, which are currently imported from countries of Asia, Europe and from India," the bank said.

The capacity of the first plant will amount to 18,000 tonnes of cast polypropylene film per year. The second will produce 28,000 tonnes of flexible packaging.
